The club are exploring sources and expect to purchase both these items in the coming months

With Duplicate machines hand records would be available for members after each session, while bridgemate would provide results within 2 minutes after the end of play.

Summary

• Deals the cards into the boards saves time and wear on the cards

• Provides random hands, hands dealt manually cannot be properly shuffled to give truly random hands which results in too many flat hands

• Provides hand records at the end of the evening which can enable learning or improvement.  The hand records can provide a list of what contracts were available on each hand.  Enables partnerships to work together for better understanding.  An example of hand records is attached

• The cost is approximately £2,900 which includes the machine  and enough boards and cards for 3 nights a week
